Privacy and enquiry data
Privacy Notice
This notice explains how information submitted through vipcarrentalcuba.com is used to review and respond to a transport proposal request.
Last updated: 3 August 2026
Who handles your enquiry
For website enquiries, the contact point and data controller is VIP Car Rental Cuba, operating as a service desk within the My Elite Cars network. The legal supplier or contracting party, if different, will be identified in the written proposal.
Questions about this notice or requests concerning your information can be sent to enquiries@vipcarrentalcuba.com.
Information we receive
Please do not submit passport copies, payment-card details, full passenger manifests, private room details or sensitive documents through the public form.
- Identity and contact details: name, email, optional telephone or WhatsApp number, preferred contact channel, company or coordinating organisation.
- Journey information: request type, dates, time window, pickup area, route, passengers, luggage, vehicle category preference, optional flight number, functional needs and notes.
- Technical information used to operate and protect the form, including the landing path, form timing, anti-abuse indicators and rate-limit data.
Why we use it
We use the information to respond to your request and take steps you ask us to take before a possible service agreement, and to protect the website and enquiry channel against misuse. A website request is not a booking and does not hold a driver, vehicle or route.
- Review the requested movement, passenger and luggage context.
- Prepare, clarify or follow up on a written proposal.
- Maintain the security, availability and integrity of the enquiry service.
Who may receive it
Information may be processed by our hosting and email provider and shared with selected transport or service partners only where reasonably required to assess a proposal or fulfil a service you later confirm. We do not sell enquiry data.
Some providers or partners may process information outside your country. Where applicable, we seek to use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards. The legal supplier and relevant service conditions will be identified in the written proposal.
Retention
Unconverted enquiry records are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a shorter period is appropriate. Information connected to an accepted proposal may be retained longer where necessary for the agreement, accounting, dispute handling or other legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law applicable to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. Contact us at enquiries@vipcarrentalcuba.com. You may also complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority.
